Yahoo!s Keyword Selector Tool gives you suggestions on additional keywords based on what you initially specify. This can help you create new and evolving keywords based on what you know works and what doesnt. The site is a part of Yahoo!s Overture, and lists and ranks the keywords based on popularity. Visio 37 HDTV Product Review

Many are looking for the Visio 37 HDTV because one of the most promising companies to come out in recent years in the world of HDTV is Visio, or Vizio. They offer only a few different TVs, but they have some of the lowest prices available anywhere. They are a great starter set for those looking to take a dip in the HDTV pool without spending tens of thousands of dollars.

While Visio doesnt make a 37-inch plasma HDTV, they do make a 37-inch LCD model that is very attractive. The Visio 37 LCD L37 HDTV is the number one selling set of that size in the United States right now and it retails for $999 on their own website. In the UK, it sells for the same price but in English Pounds from retailers such as Tiger Direct. The set comes with a one-year warranty and has an excellent resolution at 1366x768.

Visio does make other sets, as well. If you must have a plasma TV, they make a 42 model and a 50 model.

The 42 plasma P42 HDTV retails for $1299 directly from Visio. It comes with a mind blowing contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1 which makes for an exceptionally clear picture. The set can also show up to 231 billion different colors. One can only imagine what a nature show on the Discovery channel would look like in 231 billion colors. The set also comes with a one year warranty.

Its big brother, the 50 plasma P50 HDTV also offers an amazing 231 billion colors, but with the wider picture, it can make watching TV an incredible experience. The set retails at $1,999 directly from Visio, but it can probably be found cheaper if you shop around. This particular set has won some awards, as well. PC Magazine awarded this set its editors award and Kiplingers magazine put it on their 2006 best of list. If youre looking for that Visio 37 HDTV, you might want to upgrade to this beauty, you wont be disappointed.

With so many different models on the market, choosing the perfect HDTV for you can be tough. But with these quality Visio models, you can be sure that youll be getting the best value for your money.

Dish Network vs DirecTV (comparative study)

Dish Network and DirecTV is direct broadcast satellite (DBS) service that broadcasts digital satellite television and audio to households. With the outbreak of satellite television people had many choices to make, which was then resolved by two main competitors, The Dish Network and DirecTV. As the prices were too high for cable TV, subscriber chose satellite TV, but had a question of which provider should be chosen?

A provider is a company that owns and operates satellites in geostationary orbit around the earth. These satellites broadcast the signal down to your satellite dish and from there the signal is transferred to your receiver (black box). The vast majority of satellite TV subscribers in the United States use one out of Dish Network and DirecTV. So this article will concentrate on comparing the two satellite giants in an attempt to help you decide which of the two is best for you.

When a comparative study is done one makes sure of the primary interests of a subscriber like customer services, installation charges, system warranty, channels that are available, etc.

Dish network was launched in December 1995 and soon reached its first million customers by the end of 1997. It is the first in the market that offers a two-way, high-speed internet access via satellite and first satellite TV system to offer over 500 channels all of which are digitalized.

Direc TV was launched in the summer of 1994 pioneering the satellite TV industry. Within a year it reached over a million customers in America. It has over 225 channels with many DVR and HD packages.

Both DISH Network and DirecTV offer 100% digital picture and CD quality sound in all of their programming which gives a crystal clear perfect picture which was not provided by cable TV

The exponential growth of the satellite TV industry builds a high level competition for both DISH Network and DirecTV and hence both are in a position where they can afford to offer the satellite equipment (dish and receivers) free to their subscribers. So for starters, both DISH Network and DirecTV offer free satellite equipment and subscribers just need a card for monthly billing purposes. As the equipments are free of cost, the price of your monthly programming bill depends on which programming package you choose.

DISH Network's America Top 60 programming package starts at $19.99 per month with the availability of local channels with a provision wherein you dont have to commit a one year contract and wind your subscription without paying the penalty.

DirecTV's Total Choice package with local channels is $44.99 per month. In Total Choice package you get over 130 channels with a criterion of signing a one year subscription agreement. If you cancel your service before the year is up, then you have to pay a penalty fee to DirecTV.

As both satellite giants use the very latest technology in their satellites and receiving equipment, what differentiates the two is in the programming options that they provide to their subscribers. DirecTV is somewhat ahead of the DISH Network in their sports packages, as they offer seasonal sports options like the NFL Sunday Ticket that DirecTV has exclusive rights to. Both providers offer tons of premium movie packages to choose from including HBO, Showtime, Starz and Cinemax.

Dish Network has more satellites in orbit than DirecTV. They have the capacity to offer up to 500 viewing channels, whereas with DirecTV, you can only get 250 channels. DISH Network also offers more foreign programming packages than DirecTV does.

Dish Network uses dishes such as the 36"20" SuperDish and the Dish 1000 with capability to receive satellite signals from three satellite locations simultaneously. Both Dish 1000 and SuperDish are becoming more common as Dish Network (as well as other DBS services) are attempting to squeeze more programming onto their growing systems, particularly local and national American television network stations, and foreign programming. Whereas DirecTV uses a fixed 18-inch diameter dish antenna to receive its signals to pull up the programs.

In the all important area of customer care, both DirecTV and DISH Network offer outstanding customer care and support. Both offer online FAQ sections and help sections at their websites. You can also call both toll-free to get help with any problem you may be having. Pay-Per-View movies may be ordered either by using your remote control or calling the 800 toll-free numbers for either provider.

Both DirecTV and DISH Network offer free professional installation as part of their free satellite TV promotions. One difference is that DirecTV will install your equipment for free in up to five rooms, where DISH Network presently only installs for free in up to four rooms of your home.

Markets are swarming with the various deals that are offered by the satellite TV providers. But one has to make a choice depending upon prices, subscription deals and quality of customer service.

Indulge Yourself With A Sports Car Rental

Have you ever driven an exotic sports car? Have you ever had the experience of cruising down the road in a foreign sports car, feeling the raw power through the steering wheel, and knowing that you are the envy of everyone who sees you drive by?

It is a great feeling, and it is a feeling that you can have, if you want to. There are hundreds of places across the US that will rent a sports car to you by the day or even by the week. Yes, it will cost a bit more than the typical Ford Taurus or Chevy Cavalier to rent, but for the unforgettable experience of driving such a fine piece of powerful machinery, it will be worth it, if for no other reason that bragging rights to your friends as well as the wondering eyes of your neighbors when they see that beauty parked in your driveway.

What are your options? If you do a bit of searching, you will likely find a business that does sports car rentals pretty close to almost any major city. Finding a Corvette or a Mustang Mach 1 is probably very simple. Even a Cadillac, Range Rover, Hummer H3 or Mercedes Benz would not be too difficult to find. But if youre going to do this, then do it right. If your tastes are a bit sportier or you want to show off with European sports car flair, you can do that too. For example, you could rent a Ferrari 348 Spider, Ferrari 355/360 (6-speed & F-1 paddle shift), Porsche Boxster, Viper GTS, Prowler, Alfa Romeo, a Jaguar XK, a BMW, the Aston Martin Vantage, or even a Lamborghini Gallardo or Rolls Royce.

Just imagine what it would be like to be driving one of those for a few days or even a week. The local streets around your home town would be a totally new experience for you. Think about using that sports car rental to take that new client to lunch one day. Even better, think about picking up your significant other in this beauty to celebrate a special occasion. Hint for you guys: maybe its a birthday or an anniversary, but if you make that special occasion the anniversary date of the first time you ever went out with her, the combination of that exotic sports car plus the fact that you actually remembered that date will win you countless brownie points.

Since this is pretty much a premium sports car rental, you can expect premium service to accompany those premium prices. Most places will deliver the car to you at the airport or at your hotel. Be sure to make your reservation ahead of time to ensure that the car you want is going to be available when you want it.

No, its not cheap, but the thrill and the experience will indeed be memorable. Life is short, you work hard, so take the time occasionally to indulge yourself and treat yourself to a taste of how the other half lives.

10 Easy Weight Loss Tips

Your resource to helping you lose weight and become healthy

1) Since you wish to lose weight, your target = BMR - 500 kcal Work out your BMR basal metabolic rate - this is to define how many calories your body will require per day. By having too many calories you will simply put on weight, having less than you require will help you to lose weight. Body weight (lb) x 15 + (moderate activity [mins/pday] x 3.5) as you want to lose weight then your target = BMR-500 kcal.

2) Fruit for breakfast - Try eating fruit for breakfast! Fresh fruit - apples, grapefruit, strawberries, cherries, oranges, kiwi, melon, and grapes all count. In fact, any fruit works - and there are so many to choose from. Eating fruit for breakfast will get you on the road to having a healthier body right away. Fruit in its raw form is full of vitamins and minerals and will give you lots of energy and also it is low in calories.

3) Eat slowly - When we eat slowly, the process of chewing and mixing foods in our mouth with saliva is the first step in digestion. The more we chew our foods, the less work is needed to digest them. For people who are constantly experiencing bloating, stomach pain or heartburn after eating, they are eating too fast and are causing indigestion. The other benefit of eating slowly is to prevent over eating. By eating slowing, we allow the stomach to signal the brain when we have eaten enough before we have eaten too much. For people who want to eat less, eating slowly is most effective.

4) Regular exercise - For the best results, add exercise to your plan. Regular exercise not only expends energy as you're doing it, but can also lead to increases in your basal metabolic rate, so you'll burn more Calories even at rest. High-intensity exercises burn the most Calories, but don't select exercises solely on their fat-burning potential. Instead, pick exercises (i.e. sports activities) that you enjoy, and want to incorporate into your daily routine.

5) Portion size - You can lose weight and still eat your favorite foods! Just decrease your portion sizes by half. For example, if you are used to eating a whole baguette or sub sandwich at lunch, just eat half and supplement your meal with raw veggies on the side and finish of with some fresh fruit. Then wait to see if you're still hungry. If you pause after eating the first half and allow yourself a few minutes to feel satiated, you just may find you're too full to eat the other half anyway.

6) Natural foods - natural foods are so much better than processed foods as they contain more goodness in the way of vitamins and minerals, they are lower in fat and do not contain any hidden harmful additives such as preservatives and pesticides. A lot of processed foods contain a lot of hidden sugars which will make you put on weight.

7) Indulgence - Don't feel guilty about giving yourself a treat from time to time, just make sure you keep an eye on the quantity and frequency of it. If you deny yourself any treats then you are more likely to relapse into your old unhealthy ways.

8) Watch out for sugary drinks - many fruit drinks contain hidden added sugars. Juices, pop, cream & sugar in your coffee or tea all add up. Opt for drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. In addition to providing hydration to your body, it will also help you feel full.

9) Keep a journal - Keeping a food journal helps you pin point your eating pattern and will enable you to easily modify it. If possible, have your Registered Dietitian review your journal.

10) Do not skip meals - Eating small frequent meals help to balance your calorie intake throughout the day and also keeps your blood sugar level balanced. Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day. If you cut back and miss too many meals your body will go into a starvation mode and subsequently hang onto its fat stores.

Buy Local Food To Reduce Food Miles

I have to admit, I am becoming obsessed with checking where my food comes from and this is driving my partner mad. Whether you are in the local market or a supermarket, it says South African apples, Israeli pears and peppers from Chile. You would think that the UK and USA does not produce any food, if this is the case then where has the billions of pounds gone that our two governments pay in farmers subsidies?

By buying food from abroad, developing countries get to market their produce world-wide and we get out of season food all year round. Everyones happy except the environment. Food transportation across the globe is making a significant contribution to climate change. Just look at the following examples:

Food in the UK travels 65% further than it did two decades ago

Heinz ketchup eaten in California is made with California-grown tomatoes shipped to Canada for processing and returned in bottles

In one year, the port of New York City exported $431,000 of Californian almonds to Italy, and imported $397,000 of Italian almonds to the US

Examples are from http://www.newint.org

What is local food and how can it help?

For many, local food is interpreted as unprocessed food, to be transformed by the consumer or a local shop rather than by the food industry. The food originates from as close to home as possible such as on a regional or national level. As such, local food reduces or eliminates the costs of transport, processing, packaging, and advertising. The go local food movement is currently flourishing with over 15% of people buying food locally and this number continues to rise as the number of farmers markets and local vegetable box schemes increases.

The benefit of locally grown fresh food is that it can be consumed almost immediately after production leading to an increase in food quality and taste as it may be sold fresher and usually riper. Also, the need for chemical preservatives to artificially extend the shelf-life can be reduced or eliminated.

Buying local food does not necessarily mean giving up all food coming from distant countries, but rather favoring local foods when available. Why buy apples from South Africa when you can buy British apples? But often buying food produced abroad can be cheaper (yes, cheaper) than locally produced food due to the subsidies the farmers receive and economies of scale from these large plantations.

It is also argued that national borders should preferably not be used to define what is local and instead measurements made in miles. The growth of Sat Nav systems maybe able to help in calculating the exact number of food miles that food has undertaken. For people living in, say, the south of England, food produced in northern France is more local than food produced in Scotland as it is closer. The local food movement in the European Union has been furhter complicated and hindered by EU rules requiring items produced in the EU, including food, to be marked as products of the EU, rather than as products of any particular country. The instinct of customers to buy nationally produced food in the name of patriotism was deemed to be a barrier to free trade and anti EU.

Studies need to be undertaken so that people can have faith and knowledge that the food that they are buying is actually reducing their carbon footprint on the earth. For example, we need to assess whether it is likely to be more environmentally friendly for tomatoes to be grown in the hot climate of Spain and transported to the UK than for the same tomatoes to be grown in greenhouses in the UK requiring huge amounts of electricity to light and heat them.

Christmas PS3 Blues

Patience is a virtue, and you're going to have to be pretty virtuous if you're one of the millions of UK PlayStation Fans awaiting the arrival of the PS3. As if it wasn't bad enough we had to rewrite our letters to Santa this year (because it now won't hit our shelves until March), we're also all going to be green with envy as the web fills up with the usual reviews, cheats, and walkthroughs etc from sites in the States where they will get their hands on the console from November 17th.

Personally, my patience (lost my virtue a long time ago) ran out already, and my craving for HD gaming led me to the XBOX 360. I suspect many others will do the same this Christmas and I don't blame you. To not release the most hyped console of all time for Christmas has got to be the craziest decision Sony has made (apart from the choice of software packed with their MP3 Walkman - but don't get me started on that one). It can't even be based on format because the PS3 will be region free, and you can play any PS3 game on it no matter what part of the world you bought it from.

If you do decide to cut your losses and go for the XBOX 360 you won't be disappointed, I certainly haven't been. But you should be aware that in their hurry to steal the HD gaming market, Microsoft left a couple of jobs as 'work in progress'. Although the list is growing, the XBOX 360 still only plays a handful of original XBOX games. If you're starting afresh that?s fine, but if you've got a hefty back-catalogue of XBOX titles you were planning to play then that?s a real bummer. Backwards compatibility was a target that simply wasn't reached in time for release and early release was obviously of greater importance to Microsoft than it appears to be for Sony.

However, if you're a PlayStation purist, or simply do not fancy the XBOX 360 or the Nintendo Wii, then your virtue will be well rewarded. Although I find it difficult to understand some of Sony's business decisions, I can fully understand the hype surrounding the PS3. It will be without doubt the most powerful domestic games console available, boasting the 'Cell' processor, twelve times faster than processors found in top range PC's. The PS3 will also offer 'Blue-ray' technology which Sony are heavily promoting to take over from DVD, as well as offering free 'out of the box' online gaming (broadband connection required).

All of this extra 'oomph' inevitably comes at a cost, and you should expect to pay more for the prestige of owning such a machine. You'll also need to keep an eye on game prices too from November and compare them to its rivals, afterall there is no point owning the thing if you have to rob a bank every time you want something to play on it. On the plus side it will play any PS2 or PS1 titles you have tucked away.

Whatever you decide, have a happy Christmas, and keep on gaming !

Baby Budgeting Tips

Bringing a baby into the world brings many responsibilities, one of which is the management of your finances. A baby and child will create many changes to your income and expenditures. By getting your finances in order early you can look forward to a bright future through parenthood where finances aren't a cause of stress or worry.

Consolidate & reduce existing debts - It's easy to accrue debts on credit cards, store cards and personal loans. Why not consolidate your existing debts into one place to reduce your monthly interest payments. You can consolidate debt from credit cards using a balance transfer offer such as 0% on balance transfers for 6 months. During these 6 months you should focus on reducing the debt as much as possible.

Make extra home loan repayments - If you have a home loan and are both currently employed you should use your dual incomes to make as many extra repayments on your home loan as you can manage before dropping to one income. Make sure your home loan has a free redraw facility so that you can pull any extra repayments back out at a later date should you need it. Even if you pull most of the money back out after you have the baby you will still of reduced your interest payments in the meantime and further reduced the principle balance.

Check your Health Insurance cover - Having a baby can rack up some big healthcare bills especially is there are any complications. If you don't have private health cover you should consider taking it out in advance of getting pregnant as many funds have a 12 month wait before they pay out for maternity expenses. If you already have health cover, check the policy and ensure maternity cover is included. If not, you may need to upgrade or shop around for another policy.

Protect your income - While an additional expense, it is seriously worth considering income and life insurance should the worse happen. The upbringing of a child create a large financial repsonsibility. You need to be confident that your home loan could be paid off and essential costs such as education and living costs covered in the event that an income is lost or something happens to one of you.

Save for your future - Think about saving for education and other future costs by starting a high interest savings account. Online only savings accounts often have higher interest rates and lower fees than tradtional banks. If you looking for bigger returns with a long term investment then you could look into managed funds or shares.

Think ahead - is your retirement plan working for you - Make sure you have your entire retirement plan in one place to avoid paying multiple account fees. Look for retirement plans with low fees and strong performance results. The thought of your children growing up may seem a long way ahead but you need to get your money working for you now to ensure a good financial position for yourself when they eventually flee the nest.

Try out living on just one income - It can be a shock moving from a dual income household to a single income household when you have a baby. To make things easier why not try and live off one income for a while before the baby is born. The other income can be put towards extra home loan repayments or reducing debt as suggested in the other tips.

Don't spend money when you don't have to - The great thing about having a baby is that friends and family are keen to help out. If you've have friends who have had babies before you why not see if they have toys, clothes or equipment that they don't need anymore. Ebay, online classifieds and your local newspaper are also excellent places to find baby goods second hand. To save money of expensive toys that your baby will soon grow bored of you can use local toy libraries for a small cost.

Babies can save you money as well! - While there may be no shortage of costs around bringing up a child, you'll probably notice you spend less money on entertainment such as going out to restaurants and bars, especially in the first years after having a child. They will provide you with plenty of 'entertainment' and keep you occupied day and night.

Questions You Should Ask A Realtor Before Signing Anything

Questions you should ask a Realtor before signing anything. A Realtor is hired to help you complete a real estate transaction with your best interest in mind. However, there are a few questions that you can ask a Realtor to ensure that you will receive the best service possible. Also, these questions will help you to make sure that the Realtor will be able to meet your expectations.

1. When you are hiring a Realtor for your real estate transactions, you are hiring them for their professional experience. Therefore an important question is; how much experience do they have in real estate. How much experience do they have working with real estate in the area you want to conduct your real estate transaction?

Even though Realtors follow a higher level of ethics, there are still new Realtors. There are also Realtors that are new to the area and may not have the necessary connections that it would take for you to get the service you need.

2. Are you able to check their references? Can you talk to one or two of their previous customers? Do they have any letters of recommendation that you can read? Most good Realtors will offer this information before you ask, but if not, it should not be a problem for them to provide these to you. You are hiring someone just like any other job.

3. What education does the Realtor have? What ongoing education have they completed? Do they have any other certifications do they have?

4. What time frame do they work? Selling or buying a home takes a great deal of time. If a Realtor is only working part time, that is only part time that they will be able to dedicate to you. Therefore, if they work 5pm to 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, that is all the time they would have to work for you. This may not be the best hours for a home to be bought or sold. You will need a Realtor that can be there to help you. A good Realtor works seven days a week and would be on-call. When a home can be shown or sold they will be there.

5. Are they a member of their local Board of Realtors? It is a good idea to make sure that they have taken the time to work with the local Realtors and understand the area they are working in.

6. What tools will they have available to help you complete your real estate transaction. Do they go through the MLS listing service? What other forms of advertising options will they use? Do they have open houses? What contacts do they have?

7. Will it be the Realtor themselves that will be completing your transaction, or will it be the Realtors assistant. Can you request that the Realtor be the one that is working with you.

8. Where will the Realtor be getting their leads? Will they be going from their own lists, or will it be from many sources.

9. What can you do to make sure that your home is ready for the market. Are there repairs, etc to make sure that your home will sale for the price you are looking for? If you are looking to buy a home, is there a faster way that you can view homes that are available.

10. What are the Realtors fees? Are they negotiable? What amount of the commission is going to be put into advertising? Will you be paying any additional fees, other than the down payment and closing costs?

After you have asked the Realtors you are looking to hire, you will have a good idea of what you can expect. If you are ready to sign a contract at this point, try to make it a short contract. Also, see if there are options for non-exclusivity. If however you find the perfect Realtor for your needs, sign away. They are likely to make sure that your real estate needs are taken care of.

Why Dolly the Sheep is an Icon of Web Content

Original unique content on the web is like Dolly the cloned sheep and her lamb Bonnie, different yet the same. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolly_the_sheep

So lets take a closer look at the nature of content.

Information can generally be divided as subject and object. The subjective character of a composition, theme, essay, article, or story is the creative part of content where ideas appear as a flow of information from writer to reader. The flow requires both subjective and objective inputs and outputs.

A subject always begins as original organic content. Writing subjective human idea source code is like a data transfer from an author to a storage medium like paper or computer equipment where the content is compiled or processed for use as an information product.

Objective composition can be measured in terms of form and function. The form can include elements like manuscript, headers, footers, page numbers, chapter headings, sub-headings, pictures, drawings, footnotes, endnotes, works cited, index, table of contents, lead pages, typography, cover, design, and layout to name a few.

The function includes accuracy of spelling, grammar, internal links within a document, and external links to other books, ebooks, and web content. Function can also include a range of output options that are device independent like a monitor screen or printer.

Since the words original and unique apply to both subjective and objective aspects of information, another distinction must be made to tell the difference. For example, the word organic can be used to distinguish a difference between a human using a search engine to find content and a robot or software being used for similar search activity. An organic, living, natural search involves both subjective and objective testing by means of reading but the robot search can only recognize the objective, synthetic, non-organic aspects of characters, words, and phrases in content. The distinction then can be expressed as organic original as opposed to synthetic original content.

The billion-page supply of synthetic non-organic content competes for market share with supply from comparatively few original organic content writers. Both use the same keywords to attract natural search but artificial methods obviously dominate the quantity of content available and also uses natural search un-naturally.

The all icing no cake professional package and marketing of unique artificial content significantly impacts quality by leveraging semantics for profit from content of marginal use value. Fortunately, the surplus of synthetic content also indicates an unusual demand for the real McCoy original organic content.

Interestingly enough this aspect of the interface of technology and culture is as developed as the obvious deficit between human and machine productivity. In other words although computer software can produce more content for less money at the click of a button, it can never produce original organic content, the source code only available from human writers.

The scarcity of original organic content is in the order of tens of thousands to billions or .0001 percent of all content. While this may explain why the synthetic type of content may leave some readers with an unsatisfied or empty feeling, it does not explain why scarcity of original organic content has not yet driven the income of writers through the roof. Does it not make sense then to leverage organic content for greater profit?

Article directories are one of the main funnels of original organic content into the web but do little to appreciate or increase the value of this scarce resource or to distinguish it from the synthetic type. Not only do some directories promise recognition and links to authors sites in a so-called resource box in return for content, some charge the author to distribute to other directories. Its like saying, pay me five bucks and Ill take that gold off your hands and give you credit for it in a by-line.

Well thats about to change because hiding in plain view, concealed in a most obvious place, is an unassuming article directory. Its a virtual needle in the internet haystack with some most unusual support features. Here, the secrets of book publishing that include the art and science of packaging are starting to trickle into the internet at this quiet location.

While some infopreneurs have an idea of what ebooks can look like, or how they can function, or how to make money from them, the integration of form and function is expanded at this site to include how to make more money no matter who you are, what knowledge you have, or what niche you want to play in. Obtaining Unsecured Personal Loans Even With A Bad Credit Score

When a person has a bad credit score, he or she may feel that obtaining unsecured personal loans is a total impossibility. Yet, in actuality, it is not. One should not just throw ones hands in the air in despair, and resort to mental and financial misery. In the United Kingdom, nearly one of every four people have some type of poor credit history, perhaps due to late bill payments, arrears, defaults, County Court Judgments (CCJs), or even bankruptcy. Sometimes bad credit can even be traced back to a clerical error or identity fraud. These past discrepancies may be the deciding factors that bring about a poor credit report for an individual. Consequently, with that bad credit score, a person seeking a loan, is likely to be turned down by conventional lenders. But a persons search for financial deliverance should not end there, even if he is down on his luck, and there seems to be no way out of the black hole of personal debt.

One should not despair about acquiring a personal loan, even with that dreaded bad credit score, because there are companies that specialize in loans to people who have previously been turned down by other types of lenders such as High Street bankers. Indeed, if someone rents a flat and is not a homeowner, with no equity, the future must seem rather bleak when trying to obtain a personal loan. Happily, there are independent brokers who do find loans for people who want to break out of the cycle of credit card or other type of debt. Unsecured personal loans can be a persons light at the end of the tunnel of personal debt, mainly through the consolidation of many debts.

A poor credit loan might be needed for other reasons. The purchase of an automobile for work or for personal use is a legitimate expense. Perhaps there is an upcoming wedding with reception and honeymoon costs approaching in the near future. Maybe a holiday in a warm climate is desired. Certainly needing funds for starting a new business would constitute reasons for a loan. Cosmetic surgery, or the payment of other medical bills both may require funds.

The companies that offer unsecured personal loans are even available online, with applications that can be quickly filled out on a personal computer, while sitting in ones own home, or even at a Wi-Fi coffee shop. In many cases, the application is so user-friendly, that it can be finished while sipping a cappuccino! Although most of the loans that are granted are for debt consolidation, the before-mentioned reasons for obtaining a loan have merit as well. Whatever the need, the loan that can change a persons life may be available to the person with a bad credit score, but one will never know unless he or she makes that initial inquiry! It may only be the completion of a one-page application to find out for sure.

Loan applications from UK Council Tenants, Housing Association Tenants, Private Tenants, and MOD Tenants, are generally welcomed. It really doesnt matter what the residential status of a client might be, and truly home-ownership is not the only criteria that is used to determine the granting of a loan. Additional personal facts such as employment or other assets count as well. Actually, loans to tenants are much more common than the average flat resident might expect.

Tenant loan companies specialize in sourcing loans from 250 to 25,000 for any legitimate purpose. Millions of pounds every month are lent to thousands of people who complete the simple application forms, and consequently, find their loan requirements answered by a large range of financial products. There are even loan establishments that forego, completely, any upfront fees for the service. Clients can often apply online for a same day decision. Why should someone wring his hands monthly over the myriad number of bills that appear in the letterbox, when financial aid is merely a brief application away?

With a reputable loan company for tenants, there is no obligation to proceed beyond the initial application, if this is the wish of the client. So no risk or confidentiality is at stake. Indeed, every application should be regarded with the utmost confidence. No bank, employer, other individual, or institution would be contacted without the expressed permission of the person inquiring about the loan.

Operating costs are kept to a minimum at online loan companies by handling as many inquiries as possible, via e-mail and text messages. One can go to websites, 24/7, and apply during ones own non-working hours for a personal loan, without having to meet at an inconvenient time in someone elses office.

What a relief it will be for that person who has been weighed down by personal debt, to be able to throw off that burden, even though there was a poor credit score in his or her history! That freedom from creditors can be a mere few minutes of computer work away with unsecured personal loans. The final questions one should ask oneself are, Can I afford not to seek financial help? Isnt it better to place a foot on the terra firma of an online lender rather than to be struggling forever for a toehold in the quicksand of oppressive personal debt?

Back-to-School Organizing Tips for the Mom-On-The-Go

Back to school can be a stressful time of year. Families must change from the laid-back summer schedule to the non-stop school and activity calendars that keep moms jumping from one activity to the next without a moments rest. Fortunately, today there is help.

GO MOM !NC, a leader in products to help you organize your busy life, provides its latest advice to keep Moms organized as they get their families back-to-school this fall. Across the nation, busy parents are focused on easing their children into the new school year, states Molly Gold, founder of GO MOM !NC. My role as a Family Scheduling Expert is to help Moms focus on how they can better organize themselves to be ready for all that change and be mindful of how their own workload will evolve alongside of their family.

Want the cliff notes on how you can get organized for Fall 2006? Take a look below:

Plan Ahead The only way you can command your time is to consciously map it. Simply put, use a family-oriented planner that enables you to track all family members schedules in one place. When you monitor your family schedule, you can then plan how and when to accomplish important back-to-school tasks, such as replacing clothes, purchasing school supplies, and attending back-to-school night. Stock your kids homework stations with pencil and paper basics while purchasing classroom items. Take it one step further by creating an emergency project box full of grade appropriate tools that will hold the night before anxiety at bay. Visit Target stores for an ample supply of poster board, report folders, markers, glue sticks, and an assortment of interesting arts and crafts items in small quantities to allow your childs creativity to shine, one project at a time.

Plan for Paper Before you start stacking all those important school papers in a long forgotten corner of your kitchen, or on top of last months bills, put your paper trail in place beginning with in/out boxes for each family member. Show everyone where to place their papers and then sort them daily with your planner at hand to note important deadlines and tasks. When setting up your own filing system, check out the new GO MOM! School Organizer. With monthly pockets for everything from school-related projects and fundraisers, to teacher newsletters and activities rosters, you cant help but be ready for the first round of parent/teacher conferences at the end of first quarter. If its your house that keeps you buried, youll find the GO MOM! Home Organizer to be equally as effective in helping you categorize and sort the most important papers as you manage your familys busy days.

Plan to Purge We all do better with a clean, organized environment. If you havent yet gone through everyones closets, dressers, and bedrooms while evaluating wardrobes for school, do it as soon as you have your routine in motion. Make room for the year ahead by rounding up all outgrown items, discarding everything that cant be repaired, both in the toy and clothing departments. For items in good condition, arrange for a charitable donation or enlist your kids help and plan a yard sale in late September. Take advantage of your clean slate and give each room a quick cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner like Mr. Clean Extra Power Multi-Surface Cleaner for even the toughest jobs. From scrubbing baseboards to replacing air filters, flipping mattresses and cleaning windows, Fall is a great time to freshen your home and welcome the change of seasons. And for Moms of older kids, enlist their helping hands as you plow through this process. Respect and responsibility for both our possessions and environment are life skills worth teaching.

GO MOM !NC is based in Apex, NC and promotes the use of The GO MOM! Organizer and GO MOM! Planner, unique day planner systems for everything that is family. Founder Molly Gold is a 40-year-old mother of three and the creator of the GO MOM! product line, which will grow this September to include The GO MOM! Wall Organizer, The GO MOM! School Organizer, and The GO MOM! Home Organizer. All products in the GO MOM! line are produced via license partnership with Mead Westvaco Consumer and Office Products and sold at major retailers nationwide, including Target, Staples, and Office Max.

Backup Data On Your Laptop

You would be surprised to learn the quantum of data on laptops which have been irretrievably lost. Yet we dont take time off to create essential backups on our laptops.

Lets face it - a computer is not a hundred percent trustworthy machine. The hard drive can crash, laptops get misplaced or dropped rendering it useless. To make sure that our precious information that is stored is never lost forever, we must keep back ups of the information stored.

Did you know that over the past years, over a million of laptops have been stolen in the United States alone ? when a laptop is stolen, chances are that it will never be found. In that case, the owner is not only without a laptop, but also without any information!

Back up data is all the more important if you have business information stored in your computer. Like desktop computers where you can create back ups, you can create back ups in your laptop as well. Using online services, remote back up operations, or many other methods are available which help you to store back up information on your laptop.

One of the best ways to store data is to burn a data CD. These data CDs have 700 MB memory space, which can hold a lot of data and files. To do this you need a CD/RW burner built in to your laptop. Most of the newer models carry this facility.

The biggest drawback of laptops is that the storage capacity and security system is not as proficient as a desktop. Since desktops are more powerful, they can store data, including backups in a jiffy.

Laptops were designed for people on the move so the idea of keeping back up data never crossed anyones mind. When it does occur, it is perhaps too late.

As already mentioned the quickest and simplest way to create back up for your laptop is to use online back up services. Based on the speed of your internet connection, the operation can take from several minutes to several hours. Though the process is time consuming, but it is worth your while as at the end of the day, you are left safe and secure.

Keeping a back up data is always safe whether you use a laptop for personal or official use. Try and create your back ups at least once a month or more often, depending on the quantity of information you store everyday.

Business Banking Keeping Your Accounts Healthy

Theres no room for complacency when it comes to running a business, and running your account is no different. You should check your statements carefully, and have a periodic review of the market to make sure your account is still the best one for your needs.

New accounts and special offers crop up all the time, and it may be worth your while to change banks. You can also point out the competitions rates when negotiating terms with your own bank often these are flexible and a bank may offer you improved rates if you hint that you are considering taking your business elsewhere. Stay on top of bank charges, and if any show on your account that you do not understand, contact the British Bankers Association for more detailed explanations on charges and interest: www.bba.org.uk

There are ways to minimise charges and run your account as smoothly as possible:

1. Automate Your Account

If you have frequent customers, you could encourage them to make payments by direct debit or standing order. The more electronic payments you have, the fewer charges you will incur. The same goes for your expenses try to use automated services for all your regular payments.

2. Bank Online

If your bank account has online facilities, make use of them. It is both more efficient and cost effective. Larger businesses may be offered PC banking, which involves special software being installed on your accounting computer, so that your accounting system is linked directly to your bank.

If you find yourself struggling, for example if cash is short and its becoming difficult to meet the repayments on your loan, the best course of action is to visit your bank and renegotiate your account. You should do your best not to exceed any overdraft limit that has been agreed, and stick to the terms of your account. If you break the terms of your agreement there can be stiff penalties, such as referral fees and administration costs.

If you accept a cheque which then bounces, you will lose the money owed to you and also incur a charge. Be sure to write the number of the cheque guarantee card on the back of all cheques

You should also keep your records scrupulously accurate noting all transactions and crosschecking your records with your bank statements. Not only will this mean you can query any discrepancies, but it will make filling in your tax return much quicker and easier!

German Shepherd Dog Training Methods

German shepherd dog training is enjoyable because German Shepherds are intelligent dogs that may be taught behaviors easily. They respond well to most any type of dog obedience training whether you use clicker training to teach commands, or other reward methods that may be more suitable to the time and effort you want to put in. So whether you want your German shepherd dog training to be about agility, simple commands, or training him to guard your home, here are a few tips that may help you make that happen quickly and easily.

Clicker Training

Clicker training is a method of training a dog that encourages the dog to associate the sound of a clicker with his reward since it is quicker than producing a feeding a reward. It is a great method for German shepherd dog training because the breed is so quick to pick up new behavior. The way it works is that when you teach a new behavior or agility trick, you use a clicker as an audible approval sound that is followed immediately by a reward of some sort (a treat or a favorite toy). The reasoning is that the clicker gives the instant approval to bridge the time between the behavior and the production of the food or toy.

Simple Reward Training

If you do not have a clicker for your German shepherd dog training or simply think the idea is silly, you can use a more traditional approach. Try giving your Shepherd a command and moving his body for him accordingly. Once he has found the positions or behavior, reward him with praise and a treat immediately. Do not delay, because with smart breeds like German Shepherds, they may begin to associate a second behavior with the reward rather than your intended new trick.

German shepherd dog training is not difficult, but a little knowledge of how to train a dog is useful. Your Shepherd should be able to learn a number of commands in a matter of days if you use the methods above consistently and are persistent in your pursuit of a well trained and happy German shepherd.

Creativity and the Excitement of Life

Are you allowing yourself to express your creativity? When you were growing up, were your creative expressions discouraged? Would you like to express that part of you and experience more of the excitement of life?

As a Marriage, Family Therapist for many years, I was able to assist many men, women and children to awaken this dormant part of them. They often had negative beliefs based on negative experiences that caused them to shut down their wonderful creativity. The clients shared with me how they always felt something gnawing at them that needed to be expressed.

With the creative HART (Holistic and Rapid Transformation) process I developed, I was able to help them remove their blocks so that they could allow their creative juices to flow.

For example, Joyce, a fifty-five-year-old woman was retiring from her computer job at a college. She came to me because she did not know what to do with her life. I intuitively picked up that she was a singer. When I told her, "You are a singer," she burst into tears and cried uncontrollably for about five minutes.

When Joyce was able to compose herself, she shared with me how much she loved to sing but stopped in her teen years. Her well meaning parents discouraged her from pursuing a singing career. They insisted that she go to college to learn skills and have a career in something that offered her security and a good living. In fact, her parents refused to attend her singing performances in the high school plays.

>From that negative experience, Joyce felt hurt and rejected. She decided that when she sings she is not loved. To stop the pain that she felt from that negative thought, she gave up singing. The teen-ager buried a beautiful part of her along with her hurt feelings. However, they were still in her unconscious and still affecting her.

The impressionable daughter succumbed to her parents' pressure and followed their dreams. "I always wondered why I always felt something missing in my life, Helene," said Joyce. Her tears of sadness changed to tears of joy, as she smiled brightly with the thought of singing again and enjoying a part of her that she had buried a long time ago.

Are you ready to awaken or reawaken your unexpressed creativity? It may be in art, music, crafts, needlework, writing, inventions, cooking, speaking, etc. There is no limit to creativity. Our minds (logic) are in our left brain, and our creativity flows from our right brain which is also the feeling, intuitive, and spiritual part of us.

The following poem can support you to enjoy more of your creativity.

My Creativity

I am...

1) Expressing my creativity.

2) Allowing myself to be creative for the joy of it.

3) Realizing that my creativity comes from my spirit which is my unlimited, all knowing part.

4) Continuing to express my unique creativity no matter what anyone says or does.

5) Balancing my life so that I have time for my creativity.

6) Accepting that being creative for the fun of it is time well spent.

7) Enjoying the excitement of life.

You can and you deserve to feel the joy of expressing your unique creativity. Go for it!

Home Building - Bathroom Sinks & Lavatories

Bathroom sinks, also called lavatories, are available in an infinite range of colors, patterns, styles, designs, heights, depths, widths, and materials. They can be pedestal style, wall hung, under-counter mount, above counter vessels, integrated, self-rimming, or freestanding. This variety affords you a great opportunity to express yourself.

Materials

Sinks are available in many materials including vitreous china, enameled cast iron, fireclay, glass, stainless steel, brass, nickel, copper, marble, and both real and synthetic stone. Each material has its own unique characteristics.

Clay is one of the oldest material used for sinks, but can be chipped or broken.

Earthenware has a very porous clay body and is usually glazed and decoratively painted. Because it tends to crackle over time, most people opt to use china and cast iron.

Fireclay, which is sometimes called ceramic offers a smooth, non-porous surface that won't fade, discolor or rust. These sinks can be plain, sculpted, or hand-painted to produce many different looks.

Vitreous China is an earthenware product that is cast and glazed to provide a glossy, durable and stain-resistant surface. It is available in many different colors, as well as in hand painted, etched, hammered, matte, and carved finishes.

Glass and crystal sinks are the hottest trend in high end bathrooms. They are available in vessel, pedestal, wall mount, over-the-counter and under-the-counter models. While glass sinks are a little more durable than you may think, they will and do break. Visually your bathroom sink may be stunning, but practical it is not. Even the best of tempered and laminated glass will crack and break - the only comforting thing about it is it won't shatter into a million pieces. Glass sinks come in a variety of finishes like textured, colored, frosted and etched. If it's a must have on your design list then caution would be the advice of the day.

Metal is the most durable of the sink materials and is available in stainless steel, cast iron, copper, brass or a combination of these metals. (see kitchen sink materials for more information)

Styles

Pedestal sinks feature a basin that rests on a pedestal base to conceal the drain and supply lines. They are generally made from vitreous china, but can be found in porcelain coated steel. They may look good, but the provide basically no counter or storage space. Because pedestal sinks require specific placement of supply and drainage lines, it is best to select your sink before construction of your bathroom begins.

Vessels are very elegant and usually made from spun glass, lead crystal, china, fireclay, earthenware, cast iron and stainless steel. Vessels can rest above the countertop, be wall-mounted or installed in a self-rimming application or under-the-counter. Because these vessels are usually fully exposed it's not the type of sink you want in the family bathroom.

Wall-mount sinks feature a basin that is hung from the wall at a desired, functional height. They can be mounted flush to the wall, recessed or semi-recessed. They are available in a wide range of sizes, including small hand sinks, but afford little to no storage space.

Self-rimming sinks are the least expensive and most common option. It edges lap the countertop.

Undermounted and integral sinks are sinks where the edges are hidden. Undermounted sinks attach below the countertop. An integral sink is made out of the same material as the countertop and is fused to it, creating a seamless transition. Stainless steel, solid surface, and composite materials are flexible enough to mold integral sinks. The benefits of both these sinks is that they give a clean look and provide easy cleanup - no rims to push crumbs over.

Computer Fix It Software

When things go wrong, and they will from time to time, choices have to be made.

You can call for a technician, it can be expensive and you may have to wait.

By sorting out the problem yourself you save the cost, the delay, and you learn from the experience. It may not be as bad as you think and theres the satisfaction you get from solving your own problems.

The tool kit can start very small and if you become an enthusiast at solving your own problems, and those of your family and friends, then your knowledge and probably your computer fix it software will increase.

The computer fix it software that you require for these emergencies can be free, low cost, or at the very least less than a technicians hourly rate. That doesnt mean you will never need skilled help, but you may be surprised at how many problems you can solve yourself.

Routine maintenance will often prevent many of the situations that become emergencies.

The approach in this article is strictly non technical. We believe in making full use of computer fix it software that solves many problems. On the very rare occasions they dont work, then you should hand it over to the professionals or use a helpful free and friendly forum such as Tech Guy - http://www.techguy.org

One of the areas that often causes problems is the Windows registry. If you start getting error messages, system crashes or the computer getting slower, then theres a good case for using registry repair software. Causes of a Windows registry problem can be frequent installation and un-installation of programs, incomplete programs that did not install or un-install correctly, hardware installation and un-installation, unused and corrupted drivers.

I spend a lot of time on the internet, so every day I run a registry repair software package. It backs up the current settings and then removes all the rubbish that a days surfing has added to the registry. Its a two button exercise, one to start the back up of the current settings and another to remove the junk it has found, it couldnt be easier. Look at the reviews of the different packages and learn more about it at: http://registry-repair-software-review.toptenreviews.com

Sometimes its better to stop a problem before it even gets started, thats the role of respected computer fix it software called WinPatrol

WinPatrol alerts you to hijackings, malware attacks and critical changes made to your computer without your permission. It does this by taking a snapshot of your system resources and stops changes that dont meet with your approval. It also stops that accumulation of useless clutter that chokes and slows your computers performance. You can find more on this reliable software at http://www.winpatrol.com/

During the learning curve that everyone goes through I made mistakes, and I was not aware of all the reliable help thats available free or at low cost. This lack of knowledge and experience has resulted in computer crashes that have lost me massive amounts of data. Yet if I had taken one simple precaution, I could have smiled and put it all together again but I didnt. Its a painful lesson and one thats never going to happen to me again. In spite of all the data I have permanently lost, I still hated backing up. Theres always something else I have to do first.

But the problems now solved as everythings automatically backed up over the Internet for $5 a month. Once I had downloaded the program it organised everything but it gave me choices on what was to be backed up. Quantity isn't a problem it's still $5 a month no matter how much data, photos, documents, music, emails, whatever. If I have a problem or a catastrophe such as a failed hard drive I know everythings still available. The program can immediately restore a single file or everything; it automatically restores files to their original folders. More information can be found on this page: http://www.2ndjobshopping.com/backup.html

Computers dont need to rest but I do, so whenever I take a break I spend a couple of minutes setting up something to keep it usefully occupied. These tasks can include disk cleanup, disk defragmenter both of which can be accessed on Windows by going to: all programs > accessories > systems tools > disk cleanup or disk defragmenter. Other tasks that your computer fix-it software can run - the virus checker or it can seek out and remove spyware and adware.

Files on your hard disc frequently change, new ones installed, old ones deleted, this results in gaps of various sizes appearing on your hard drive and why de-fragmenting is so important.

De-fragmenting your hard drive can take a long time, but it's important because it can speed up your computer and gain disk space. It reorganizes the files on your hard drive so that they can be accessed more quickly.

You can automate the de-fragmenting by using software such as Diskeeper - http://www.diskeeper.com I recently installed this on my computer and set it to automatic. All that I hear from time to time - some disc activity as it de-fragments. Its more efficient than the Windows version and it means the drive, the slowest component in your computer, will always be optimally de-fragmented. Its well worth considering if you want a fast efficient computer.

Why not ditch the routine, automate the boring and use that extra time for doing something creative, something you want to do. It's easy to get your computer to be fast, efficient and crash free if you look after it. But don't burden yourself with having to remember all those maintenance chores, just automate it.

Seek out the Computer Fix It Software that suits your requirements, some of it will be free and most will give you a free trial period to see if you like it.

Save money and speed up your computer by using low cost, or free, computer fix it software.

Two Orlando Schools In Trouble With State Board Of Education

Two Orlando schools are in trouble with the State Board of Education. Both Evans and Jones High Schools have repeatedly failed the states annual school grading system that is based on student scores on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Evans has received three Fs and five Ds over the past eight years, while Jones has been scored with five consecutive Fs since 2002. A grade of F means these two Orlando schools have high numbers of students who perform far below grade level in reading and math.

These two Orlando schools, plus five other schools in Miami-Dade, Duval and Jefferson districts, faced dramatic overhauls by state mandate. In July, the state threatened sanctions against the four districts. The districts did not draft bold enough strategies for school reform, which prompted revisions from Duval and Jefferson that were accepted by the state in August. Miami-Dade and Orange (which governs the Orlando schools) plans were not accepted by the state, with both districts arguing the issue of who can run chronic-F schools in Florida.

The state wanted new principals hired at the two Orlando schools, who had track records of raising a schools grade by more than two levels (from a D to an A, or an F to a B grade). Orange Superintendent Ron Blocker believed such a move would destabilize the already fragile Orlando schools and argued that the states pool of qualified leaders was too small to locate new principals with such successes.

The state reacted by penalizing the Orange County School District by reducing its August funding by slightly more than $17,500, the equivalent of Blockers monthly pay and benefit costs. They additionally barred the district from applying for some grants that are considered extra funding by the state, such as technology grants that would not directly impact the students. The lost grants could potentially cost Orange, the 12th largest school district in the nation, millions in grant dollars. This is the toughest move the state has even made to force change within one of its school districts.

In mid-Setember, the state education officials and Blocker came to an agreement that will help the district comply with the states 26-point reform strategy for the two high-poverty, high-minority Orlando schools. The state has lifted the potentially costly penalties against the district and will return the August deducted penalties to the district within the month. State Education Commissioner John Winn stated that the penalties were a symbolic move to show the district that the state was serious in reforming the two Orlando schools.

Additionally, the principals at the two Orlando schools will continue in their positions. Karen Wilson has been principal at Evans High School since 2004. Bridget Williams became principal at Jones High School in 2006, after pushing Robinswood Middle School from a C to a B, then to an A during her transition to Jones. Robinswood also is a high-poverty, high-minority school. Both Orlando schools principals will be paired with state-approved mentors.

Winn stated that he expects the State Board of Education to approve the agreement and reform plans for the two Orlando schools by the end of September.

Mobile Search - The Next Big Thing?

Annual mobile phone sales are predicted to hit 1 billion by 2009 and there are already 4 times as many internet-enabled phones in the world than there are PC's.

According to Dotmobi (www.dotmobi.net), one third of the global population are connected via mobile phones today and approximately half are expected to be using a mobile Internet phone by 2008. An IPSOS survey suggests that 29% of mobile phone users in the UK searched for news and information on their handset during 2005.

The statistics are impressive and will get any marketers pulse racing. But it does seem as if we've been hearing about the potential of mobile search market for some time, and yet very few travel companies appear to be active in the mobile search space and mobile e-commerce revenues are still modest.

Up until now most advertisers have been ignoring mobile as a marketing channel, according to a new report by Forrester Research called "Interactive Marketing Channels to Watch in 2007." It suggests that only 13 percent of marketers use mobile text message ads and only 11 percent bother advertising on wireless application protocol (WAP) sites. It seems clear that advertisers are waiting for evidence that the market is there before deciding to jump in themselves.

Barrier and limitations to growth

Despite the huge number of people that have access to the mobile internet there are a number of barriers to mobile web adoption. For example;

1. Cost and clarity - carrier data plans can be expensive and confusing compared to normal internet access plans.

2. Screen Size - the limited screen size of many hand sets negatively impacts the user's browsing experience.

3. Ease of use - due to the limited screen size there is an increased number of clicks needed to get to content.

4. Lack of content - there is a 'walled garden' approach to the content offered by many mobile network operators which means that not all mobile users get full access to content.

Competition - the WiFi explosion

Another factor that may have impacted on the growth of mobile internet usage is the increasing availability of high-speed WiFi internet access in many public areas. Airports, hotels, bars, libraries and commercial shopping centres are increasingly offering WiFi, and it's often free. This has encouraged users to use laptops and PDA's to access the internet while on the move rather than through mobile phones.

Mobile is the perfect advertising platform

Despite these barriers to growth travel companies cannot afford to ignore the e-commerce and marketing potential of this platform. All of the barriers to growth outlined above will be overcome over time as technology improves and network and content providers adapt their services to facilitate the growth. The issue is not really whether the mobile search market will make an impact, but how it will make an impact.

In many ways mobile is the perfect advertising platform. It's always with the consumer, it's always on, it provides personal profiling data, it provides location data, it's interactive and it has multiple billing options already built in.

At present the major bulk of mobile searches are related to ring tones, news, entertainment, maps and directions, directory listings, local restaurants and other local services. As many as 60,000 UK users a day are checking train times on their mobile phones.

Local search is clearly the natural mobile advertising opportunity. Going forward, more complex searches and bigger transactions will become viable as technology advances and users become more comfortable with using their handsets for searching.

In a recent Travelmole interview, Nancy Lyndhurst, the product manager for O2, said some of the larger travel brands like Cathay Pacific, Accor Hotels and KLM are already successfully marketing with mobile technology. She also cites the example of Lastminute who received a 3,000 holiday booking online from a customer using their mobile telephone.

Mobile marketing spend to reach $11 billion by 2011

A recent report by the telecom division of Informa Group stated that advertisers are expected to spend a massive $11 billion on mobile marketing by 2011. Optimistic predictions like this have compelled the major search engines to start making significant investment in the future of mobile search themselves.

Google have predicted that their own mobile division, based in London, will "become the biggest driver of new business" for the company.

Google has developed its own mobile search engine and has signed a number of deals to provide mobile search services to major operator portals. Motorola have even agreed to add a dedicated "Google" button to some of its hand sets. LG, one of the top 5 mobile firms in the world, have announced that they will start to ship handsets pre-loaded with Google services from this month.

Yahoo has unveiled a new application called Yahoo Go Mobile which makes its various services available on certain phones. Not to be outdone, Microsoft launched Live Search for Mobile in February at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

There are also a number of start ups like Jumptap and Medio who will be bringing services to the new mobile search space.

It's clear that the major search properties, in partnership with the phone manufacturers and network services, are intent on driving the mobile search sector forward. With this kind of momentum there's no doubt that mobile search marketing will eventually become a major part of online marketing, it's just a question of when. Could 2007 be the year of mobile search?

Paying For Your Online Degree

Making enough money to go to college can be hard, even obtaining an online degree can be difficult to swing financially. While there are many ways that people can pay for an online degree, it is often a hard task to do since college requires study time, and work is something that will certainly eat up hours in your day. It is for this reason that it is important to start thinking about how you will pay for your online degree early in the process. The more you think about making money to pay for your online degree, the easier it will be to get through school without having to take time off to replenish funds. The goal of any institution is to get their students through the program without the students having issues paying for their degree. Most schools have specific programs to help you financially.

The best way to pay for your online degree is in cash at the start of the program. This certainly will avoid distractions. Yet this isnt the method that most people use while attending college. Most cant afford to pay for an online degree all at once. Many students must instead turn to alternative ways to make payments. The only way many people can afford to obtain an online degree is through payment plans, and financial aid, both of which are viable ways to pay for school, especially since an online degree is typically considerably less than that of a traditional university degree.

Financial aid for online degree programs is readily available for students. Students have different needs, and many students will qualify for a financial aid package of some kind. These can include a mix of grants, loans, and scholarships that are all put towards your online degree program. The best part of grants is that the federal government offers this money without requiring repayment; in essence they are paying for a piece of your tuition for the program in order for you to better yourself. Financial aid loans for your online degree are typically structured as federally subsidized loans that will eventually require repayment, but at a much lower interest rate than a traditional loan would require.

Payment plans are another way to pay for your tuition at most online degree programs around the country. There are many different payment plans available to those that wish to pursue this method. Some are more advantageous than others, but most follow a similar standard of financing the college tuition over a period of time, which can make tuition a much easier burden to bear.

While one cant prepare one hundred percent for what college costs will amount to, one can always try to be educated on the variety of ways that they may pay for their college education. It is surely a smart move to research the different financial aid packages, or payment plans. Regardless of your financial status, it is imperative to look into what aid might be available to you. This will save you time and money once your online degree program starts.
